I finally have another class coming up at Blissful Living Studios. Yep. Finally. And it's next week.
I'm really excited about it because it's all about my favorite post-editing program:
Lightroom.

There are so many things you can do to get good photos in this digital age of photography. But one of the best things that's available to us all as photographers is post-editing. As much as photographers don't like to admit it, we've gotta do it. I like to compare it to having my own little darkroom like professional photographers did in the "old days" of film. There's so much you can do to liven up the pictures that sometimes tend to be a little bit bland in the digital world without post editing. Of course, you need to be careful because I'm not a big fan of the really overworked pictures. But something to add some vibrancy and crisp-ness never hurt anyone.
People always ask if I use actions and what kind of post-editing I do. Well, here's the answer: I use no actions. I just make my own presets in Lightroom. And it's SO easy. I used to always use Photoshop, which I still love for collages and all that jazz. But for pure photo editing I use Lightroom.
So that's what this class will be all about.
And the greatest thing about it is that my brother Josh, who taught me everything I know about this program, will be the team teacher.
Yep, again, get excited. He has the best way of explaining things and is a sheer wealth of knowledge. And he'll be standing right there beside me...and my crooked mouth.
So sign up here if you're interested. And hurry because we need to limit the sign-ups so everyone will get the time and attention they need.Labels: photography
